In a person with hypoglycemia, the body produces too much insulin in the presence of glucose. This causes a sudden drop in the blood glucose level. Symptoms of low blood glucose include sweating, dizziness, fatigue, blurred vision, headache, hunger, nausea, irritability, anxiety, palpitation, and an inability to concentrate. Signs of severe low blood glucose include seizures, disorientation, and unconsciousness
Control of hypoglycemia
Avoid alcohol check your blood- sugar level before exercising. Frequent feedings, keep hard candy, glucose tablets or fruit juice. Eating more than three meals per day helps to maintain blood- glucose levels and to prevent the onset of hypoglycemia symptoms. (Frank W., 1996).
